Customizable lists allow users to organize and save places to upcoming itineraries or wishlists. They can then collaborate with others on any of the created lists and get the input they need to plan the trip of their dreams.
SeekPeak’s socially networked mobile platform turns travel planning into a one-step process based on authentic connection. Their curated collection of the favourite places of tastemakers, experts, and friends allows travellers to quickly source meaningful recommendations from people who have actually been where they plan to go. From there, travellers can easily organize and execute travel plans that will deliver.

The Problem
SeekPeak co-founders, husband and wife team, Sydney and Jason Wuttunee, had a sophisticated lifestyle and travel mobile platform in mind when they approached Poeta based on our 15 years of expertise in the startup space. Poeta’s challenge was to quickly turn this vision into an accessible, reliant, and scalable application that could put the trusted recommendations the Wuttunees envisaged right at people’s fingertips.
Poeta was a natural choice for the SeekPeak start-up, given our wealth of experience and depth of knowledge in the start-up space built up over 15 years and 300+ mobile applications. SeekPeak trusted us to turn their design vision into a functional application based on our understanding of the need to maximize available budget and to plan for long-term growth and development, as well as our capacity to prove out the concept and build followers and content.
The Solution
Poeta built the core SeekPeak application on a flexible AWS service and targeted the iOS platform as the key application environment. We paid special attention to the in-application user experience while also ensuring that future features enhancements, growth of community, and expansion into other platforms could be easily attained. Application usability was really important as was extensibility. We wanted to be able to quickly iterate on the application as people started using it. Scalability was also important to plan for application growth.
